We are now back in England - about half way back in distance but not in stages or ascent.
Today's wind was more cross wind than headwind but it was still very strong.
Once again we were very lucky with the showers, most of us managed to avoid them all,there were sunny periods on and off all day.
The Candadian lads took their first stage win, Eric coming in just ahead of Ken, they rode the last 4 miles uphill against the wind as though their lives depended upon the victory.
I had my first puncture.
The highlight of the day was having a hen party, in full fancy dress; join us in the restaurant at the Fat Lamb Hotel.
All riders completed the stage.
