Strong winds made it another long stage, especially the last third.
The sun broke through at 2:00pm but temperatures remained fairly low.
We were extremely lucky to avoid the rain, in fact the whole trip for me has seen very little rain, if I had chosen any other 30 days in the last 9 months they would have been wetter.
Eric, Ken, Robin, Trevor and myself rode the last leg together but because of the strong wind the alternative route was taken and we had to use GPS navigation we, however, held the trump card as Trevor is a Cornish man so we had a guided tour of Cornwall ignoring the GPS, thanks Trevor for a great day.
Many of Trevor's friends and family gathered at the finish line and shouted, cheered and applauded the 5 of us across the finish line in true Grande Tour Style, it was a fitting end to a wonderful 15 days of hard cyling, thankyou to each and everyone of you for the fantastic reception.
Congratulations to all our riders who have now completed the stage and are now end to enders.
County - Cornwall.
