Sunny in the morning then overcast.
The group met in the First & Last for a meal and a few drinks which led to expert advice and tactics etc.
Nine riders are in the group - all male - One extra guest for the first 2 days.
Bike Adventures supply 2 staff with a support van - One cycles with the group - One driving - alternating daily.
Route sheets are supplied giving - milage - a code for the road junctions - sign post indication - where we are heading.
Quite a challenging course for the 1st day on very narrow roads - many descents were under 10mph.
The picturesque scenery was worth the effort.
The group started at a very slow speed before the first break away at 10 miles.
Most of us met up for lunch at Portreath again a slow start before a break away.
