Mainly sunny - fairly cool - light winds.
Front tyre went down overnight - had another puncture after 10 miles - I had left a small stone in the tyre - Steve put more pressure in when we caught them up and tyre blew off the rim - tyre not seated on the rim properly - put another tube in with the same tyre and completed the ride.
The first 40 miles were mainly footpaths through Motherwell and Glasgow.
After lunch we took the footpath along the shores of Loch Lomond - Claude led the peleton - the scenery was absolutely stunning.
A long climb from Ardgaton Visitor Centre but otherwise the course was fairly flat.
