Very light rain - then steady rain - wind gradually getting stonger all day.
It was very cold for the time of year - summer solstice - Tony got off of his bike and went straight into the shower fully clothed in his cycling gear just to warm up - we were made very welcome inn the Morven Guest House and spent the evening in front of a fully lit wood burner eating a take away curry.
I rode with Mark and Keith who set a good pace, we took the main road route which was moderately busy.
One major climb at 50 miles - 2 miles at 15%.
The scenery was once again beautiful but it was some what spoiled by the visibilty and rain
I had a reprimand from Jim who is Scottish for describing the lochs as lakes yesterday ("WE DO NOT HAVE LAKES IN SCOTLAND") - I stand corrected! - yestedays blog has been amended.
Jim was odds on favourite for the stage win but disappeared in the final stages.
We cycled past Loch Ness but did not see the monster.
Counties - Inverness - Ross.
