A dismal start with a strong headwind for just over an hour was followed by bright sunny periods.
The temperature was far warmer as now we are getting away from the cold sea.
Our peleton was joined by Mike and Paula, Pete decided to have an easier day.
Mike and Paula had no problem keeping up and we rode as a tight group most of the way.
Riding was very pleasant with a refreshing breeze with no major climbs.
Andy had a puncture, some of the roads were very wet and muddy, I hear a lot of murmering from the peleton blaming the farmers but I keep telleng them that most of the mud comes from the banks.
One of our members fell off his bike injuring his pride, I think it was the same chap that had the key episode yesterday.
All riders are in safely.
I have just arrived at the bar to find that Rob (Bike Adventures) has punched on Pete on the nose and drawn blood.
It was allegedly an accident and he has been forgiven but we will be watching him carefully from now on.
