We all met last night at the Lands End Hotel and had our evening meal together
The group is nine men and one lady, judging from the conversation this team has a wealth of cycling experience.
Three Australians who have cycled the Himalayas, two Americans who have cycled the full width of America.
Dominic who has a background as a tour guide, has now bought Bike Adventures but still retain Rob and Steve as tour leaders, Dominic and Rob are the guides for this trip.
I announced at Breakfast that it would be dry and sunny all day and within a couple of minutes it started to rain, fortunately it only lasted for 5 minutes but I have lost my credibility as a weather forecaster.
It turned out to be an absolutely superb first day with the sun shining a stiff tail wind and fantastic visibilty
We all met up for coffee at Hayle and lunch at St Agnes.
Five of us then pushed on and arrived at the Crown Inn in good time.
