Daily Blog :-
A relatively easy course made much harder by a strong headwind, sunny early and late but quite cold in very exposed areas.
Bob had a serious blow out at 14 miles and we had to wait for Rob (Bike Adventure) to bring a new tyre.
I got separated from the group at Cheddar and cycled the rest of the way by myself.
We started on the Somerset Levels then had a climb up Cheddar Gorge then down very narrow lanes which were undulating towards Bristol.
We completely bypassed Bristol through a network of Cycle Paths - then over the Avon Bridge - over the Severn Bridge and up the Wye Valley to Tintern.
We are staying in the Parva Farmhouse which has the river Wye at the bottom of its garden.
