Another very cold day with a head wind which was strong at times, showers were mainly light and frequent, they felt quite heavy pedalling into the wind.
The sun broke through briefly very occasionally.
The ride started with a 12.7 mile climb then another 20 mile climb up over the moors the scenery is stunning and in spite of the wind and rain it remains my favourite day.
We all started together but split up after the first climb.
We are staying at the Bettyhill Hotel which is on the North coast of Scotland.
