Sunshine nearly all day with little or following wind, perfect cycling weather.
Temperatures rose very quickly.
A fairly easy day with 3 major climbs with plenty of short steep bits in between.
Mark was first back to base by a considerable margin.
At lunch time I inspected the cut that I made on my tyre yesterday and saw that the tube was showing through the tyre, I was carrying a fold up spare so I changed it immediately.
All cyclists completed the stage.
Poor old Steve (Bike Adventures) has been suffering from raging toothache all week, he has had 2 root canal fillings done on consecutive days but the problem still remains.
