There are some very good riders in this years group, John is the leader, he is a very good climber and a natural navigator.
Derek and I were out in front for most of the course but I had a senior moment when a couple of cyclists overtook me.
I rode back along side of one of them and asked him how far he was going, he said "To John O'Groats - I am in the same group as you." - Whoops!
Derek and I were then joined by 5 others arriving back to our accomodation together.
The weather was once again superb with sun all day my right leg has caught the sun, hopefully my left leg will get the sun on the way back.
Steve (Bike Adventures) made a quick adjustment to my rear cable which enabled me to get bottom gear again.
The light South Westerly wind helped us on our way.
All riders completed the course safely.
We are at Whiddon Down tonight with our bikes in our bedrooms.
