Daily Blog :-
The Blog was late yesterday due to wifi reception this may happen once or twice but I will catch up on the next day.
Another glorious day with a light head wind which kept us cool.
High road banks and hedges, screen the wind for a high percentage of the ride.
We made an 8:40 start today with a group of 6 riders setting the pace.
Slight navigational errors split the group at Collumpton but we got back together and stopped at Culmstock for lunch.
We saw a steam train at Bishops Lydeard.
The first 15 miles were mainly downhill but the rest of the course was challenging with a very steep climb at 48 miles, for just over 1 mile, up over the Quantock Hills.
But we were rewarded with a 6 mile downhill run into Bridgwater to finish.
Counties - Devon - Somerset.
